Hello, Klyna — what we are building and why
Klyna is an indie studio building open, honest tools for organic growth. Here is what is shipping first, what comes after, and the philosophy behind both.
Klyna is an indie studio building modern, open-source tools for SEO and organic growth. Three products ship first — a browser extension, a WordPress plugin, and a Shopify app — all built on a single shared engine. After that, the bench gets wider.
This is the short version of why we exist.
The problem
Growth tooling is a crowded category, but the tools have not kept up with how growth actually works in 2026. Most of what you can buy is one of three things:
- Enterprise dashboards at $500–$5000/month, priced for marketing teams of 20, useless for solo founders.
- AI content generators that have measurably stopped working since the helpful-content updates and the rise of detection.
- Single-feature plugins that do one thing decently but require you to stitch eight of them together.
What is missing: tools that respect your time, your data, and your budget, and that act on what they discover rather than just reporting it.
What we are building
Three products at launch:
- Klyna Inspector — a free browser extension that audits any page in one click. Pure client-side. Zero tracking. Open source.
- Klyna SEO Suite — a WordPress plugin that automates internal linking, schema, content freshness, and FAQ generation. Runs on your server, free tier in the WordPress.org directory.
- Klyna for Shopify — programmatic product page optimization, schema, and internal linking for stores. Shopify App Store, freemium.
All three run on the same TypeScript engine. A fix to the core lifts every product at once.
The principles
- Free where it counts. Free tiers do real work, not demo work. Paid tiers earn their keep with automation and scale.
- No paid APIs in your stack. Everything runs on your server, in your browser, or on infrastructure you control. Your data never leaves you.
- Open by default. Source available where it can be. Honest changelog. Real humans reading support emails.
- One brand, many tools. Sign up once, use everything. Future products plug into the same account, the same billing, the same design system.
What comes after
Once the first three are stable, the roadmap broadens:
- A privacy-first analytics tool
- A sitemap-driven content auditor
- An open-graph image generator for blog and product pages
- A privacy-respecting heatmap and session recorder (data stays on your server)
- An indie-friendly link-in-bio
- A static-site form backend that does not lock you in
The lineup is not random — it is the toolkit an indie maker or small e-commerce team actually needs, minus the parts already done well by others.
Who we are
A small team. Self-funded. No venture pressure, no growth-at-all-costs, no AI-generated upsells. We are building what we wished existed, and shipping it in public.
