Install a Klyna Shopify app

Choose a Klyna Shopify app, review its permissions, install from its official App Store listing, and complete the first safe check in Shopify admin.

Klyna’s Shopify tools solve different store problems. Start on the products page, choose the app that matches the job, and use the official Shopify App Store button shown on that product card. Apps that do not have a public listing are clearly treated as beta products instead of being presented as available installs.

Short answer

To install a listed Klyna Shopify app, open its official Shopify App Store listing, select Install, choose the correct store, review the requested permissions, and approve only when the app and access match the job you expect it to perform.

From the App Store

  1. Open the relevant Klyna product card on the products page.
  2. Select Install on Shopify to open that app’s official listing.
  3. Sign in to Shopify and select the store where the app should be installed.
  4. Review the access request shown by Shopify. The exact permissions can differ by app.
  5. Approve the install only when the app name, developer, store, and access request are correct.
  6. Open the app from Shopify admin → Apps and follow its first-run screen.

Before you approve access

Check these four things on Shopify’s approval screen:

  • Correct store: confirm you are installing into the intended Shopify store.
  • Correct app: match the app name to the product page you just read.
  • Requested access: review every permission and why the app needs it.
  • Support path: keep the product guide and Klyna Help available in case the first run does not complete.

Read Scopes and permissions for a plain-language explanation of Shopify app access. Shopify controls the final approval screen, so treat that screen as the current source of truth.

First run

The first useful result depends on the app:

  • SEO and feed tools may begin with a store scan or product-data check.
  • Redirect tools may ask for the paths or rules you want monitored.
  • storefront tools may require an app block or theme-editor step before they appear to shoppers.

Do not assume a storefront change is live until you preview the theme and test it on mobile. Do not assume a scan result applies to every product until the app reports that its first run is complete.

If the app does not open

  1. Confirm the install appears under Shopify admin → Apps.
  2. Reload the admin once and reopen the app from the Apps list.
  3. If the embedded screen is blank, follow Embedded app blank screen.
  4. If Shopify reports an access issue, compare the approval screen with Scopes and permissions.
  5. Contact Klyna support with the app name, the step that failed, and the visible error message. Do not send store passwords, API secrets, customer exports, or payment data.

Uninstall and cleanup

Use Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels to uninstall an app. Before removing a storefront app, note any theme block, pixel, feed, redirect, or product-data workflow that depends on it. After uninstalling, review the theme and affected workflow so an old block or configuration does not confuse shoppers.

Permissions

Review the live Shopify approval screen for the exact access requested by the specific app. Klyna’s Scopes and permissions guide explains why common Shopify access categories exist and what to check before approval.
