Terms of Service
These are the terms for using klyna.dev and the tools we publish under the Klyna name — the WordPress plugin, the Shopify app, the browser extension, and anything else we ship from this studio. By using any of it, you agree to what is written below. If you do not agree, do not install or use the tools. That is the whole rule.
1. What "Klyna tools" means
"Klyna tools" means any software, plugin, app, extension, theme, script, snippet, or service we publish under the Klyna name from the GitHub organisation klynahq or distributed from klyna.dev or any official channel (WordPress.org, Shopify App Store, Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons).
2. The license we grant you
Each Klyna tool ships under its own open-source license — see Licenses for the full list. As long as you follow that license, you can use, modify, host, and run the tool on your own sites and your clients' sites, including in commercial work. You do not owe us a fee for any of it.
3. What we expect from you
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. The short version: don't use Klyna to spam, cloak, scrape competitors at scale, or resell our free tools as if they were a paid product of yours.
3.1 Your own infrastructure is your responsibility
Klyna tools run inside your WordPress site, your Shopify store, or your browser. You are responsible for keeping those environments updated, backed up, and secure. We do not log into your systems and we cannot recover data from them.
4. BYOK (bring-your-own-key) services
Some Klyna tools call third-party APIs (OpenRouter, Groq, Gemini, Cloudflare Workers AI, Ollama, etc.). You bring your own key. That key is stored on your own server or browser and is never proxied through klyna.dev. We are not a party to your contract with those providers and we are not liable for their behaviour, downtime, or pricing. See BYOK posture for details.
5. No warranty
Klyna tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or improve any specific search ranking, conversion rate, or traffic metric. Open-source projects move; APIs break; search engines change. We do our best to keep up. That is the promise.
6. Limit of liability
The tools are free. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Klyna tools or klyna.dev is capped at USD $0. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you (for example, statutory consumer rights).
7. Trademarks
"Klyna" and the Klyna mark are unregistered trademarks of the studio. You can use the name factually ("works with Klyna", "built on Klyna"), but please don't use it in a way that suggests we endorse or built your product when we did not. See Trademark for the friendly version.
8. Changes
We may update these terms when something material changes — for example, when we add a new tool or a new sub-processor. We will bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the tools after a change means you accept the new terms. If you don't, stop using them.
9. Termination
You can stop using Klyna tools at any time by uninstalling them. We may suspend access to klyna.dev services (admin panel, support, ping endpoint) if someone is abusing them in a way that threatens other users or our infrastructure.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email goes to the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan. If a clause of these terms is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, the rest still applies.
